Industry Promotion

One of the key ways to grow your show’s audience is by identifying new markets. It takes creative thinking and new aspects of the show to attract new audiences. How well did the marketing efforts of a show position its industry to attract new markets? This category is broken up into two parts: 1) How the show changed to attract a new audience(s) and 2) What marketing initiatives and metrics were used to drive attendee acquisition. Judging criteria includes:

  • Identifying key factors that drove the marketing team to identify a new market segment.
  • Metrics were used to identify goals and the subsequent marketing initiatives.
  • How the show changed to accommodate this new market.

The submission form for this category will request the following information:

Industry Promotion Overview Provide an overview of the key market segment(s) targeted by the initiative and what made the segment(s) appealing to your show.
Industry Promotion Goals and Objectives Provide an overview of the goals and objectives the initiative was intended to meet/fulfill and how these were to be measured.
Industry Promotion Performance Provide in-depth detail as to how the initiative met its goals and objectives. This information may be provided in narrative format using the text box below or a file (such as a case study format) may be uploaded in the following question.
